This illness is caused by a very contagious virus. Initial symptoms usually include, fever, sore throat, and feeling unwell. One or two days after the onset of fever, mouth sores and a rash to the hands and/or feet may develop. If you suspect that your child may have Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease, please keep them home from school and seek medical attention for diagnosis. If you have any questions, please call the school nurse at 937-364-9119. We will be asking our custodial staff to take addtional measures in cleaning our classrooms and common areas. Our first priority as always, is to keep everyone safe and healthy.
